Every year, a few young new actors and actresses gain prominence because of a breakthrough role. For 2012, Shailene Woodley would be one of them. I actually loved her performance here, of a daughter who's trying her best to come to terms with everything that is happening to her family! On one side, she wants an explanation, on the other hand, she also wants to forgive her parents trespasses. I love how her character is assertive and unrelenting in showing her emotions. I was the complete opposite of her when I was at that age. Truly an eye-opener!
