Gina Carano gets to show her fighting skills in Haywire - and she even gets to play lead here! Problem is, she's no actress so you don't really get to feel her vulnerability here - especially that everyone she fights here is a guy! I guess that's the thing that's lacking here - that feeling of vulnerability, fragility which we can see in the other female action heroines like La Femme Nikita or Colombiana. She just pounds everyone to pulp - so it kinda takes away those tense moments where the heroine gets to a low.
