Daniel Radcliffe: Handsome in Victorian-Era Garb
I only watched one Harry Potter movie which I wasn't thrilled with so I am not really burdened by any image of Daniel Radcliffe as that famous book hero. So seeing him now as an adult, with facial hair and all, as this young widowed solicitor in the ghost story horror movie, The Woman in Black, was fairly easy. This guy is really handsome, especially that he doesn't do any shirtless scene here and is always clothed in that stuffy Victorian suit popular at that time.
I think Daniel's best asset is his eyes and how he uses it to express his fears and apprehensions, especially that in this story, he gets to see many spooks and ghosts! It's just wonderful to watch him. Now the challenge for him is how to transcend all these period costumes and play a regular bloke in a contemporary setting. Now that is something to look forward to!
