I'm a big fan of the work of Joel and Ethan Coen and last year, their Oscar-nominated movie, True Grit introduced to us the wondrous Hailee Steinfeld, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress. This is a wonderful Western since it has a parable-like story behind it. The characters here are imperfect at best who rise to the occasion when it is demanded of them to become true honorable men! Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon who both got Oscar nominations here for Actor and Supporting Actor are topnotch. Also, the usual Coen-type violence is here!
