Source Code was another action movie I really enjoyed last year! I liked the premise of the story too! If only real life could be that way! I was touched by the ending too. Vera Farmiga was also in my shortlist for Best Supporting Actress - Drama this year. As usual, Jake Gyllenhaal was good although he didn't take off his shirt here this time. Michelle Monaghan was my discover here. She's so beautiful!
This was one of the more enjoyable movies I saw in 2011. I not a huge Jake Gyllenhaal fan, but he did a great job in this movie. From the initial confusion, to him solving the mystery and somehow changing the past. Which I didn't understand, it had to happen for him to be put in the memory, but the whole movie he was told it wasn't real, but apparently it is. Or was that just one of the possible parallel realities we saw? I'm going to have to rent it again to see if I missed something I think. Not that I can't just put it into my queue again with my Blockbuster movie pass, and I can work on getting my $10 out of it this month, I think tonight after I get off work at DISH I will go to a local store and see if I can get it again. I find it hard to believe that so many people that reviewed the film said it was bad, I mean it isn't going to win an oscar, but this is a good film.
